There are several variations of dance: Tap dance, hip hop dance. ballet dance, ballroom dance and pole dance. Yes, Pole dance is an art that involves gymnastic and sensual dance moves around a vertical pole. When we think of pole dance we often think of an atmosphere decorated with bright flashing lights, men, beautiful naked or near naked women inside a strip club.

It takes strength, endurance, flexibility and time to be able to spin, climb and hang from the pole. The athletic ability of a pole dancer has gone unnoticed until recently; the New York Daily News reported that pole dancing may one day be an Olympic Sport. I say if curling is an Olympic sport, pole-dancing should definitely qualify!

So, whether you pole dance in a night club, for your lovers entertainment or for the workout...just do it, you'll feel like a new woman!
